I am a qualified nutritional therapist and nutrigenetic counsellor from the College of Naturopathic Medicine of Edinburgh.
I completed the AFMCP (Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice) course from the IFM (Institute of Functional Medicine)  in October 2018.

I have always had a great interest in how the body works and how the food we eat impact how we feel.

I grew up in Paris and then lived in New York and in London before moving to Glasgow and studying in Edinburgh.

I ran a private practice in Glasgow until 2019 when I embarked on a Scandinavian adventure, first spending a year in Copenhagen and now living and practising in Sweden.

It has been fascinating to observe the impact of diet and lifestyle on different populations (and myself!).

I combine my passion for health and nutrition with a mission to improve the health of our planet and care for the animals.

Through years of practice, I have identified the changes that have the most significant impact on my clients.
I have found that the best approach is going backwards: first we establish if your current diet and lifestyle support your health, then we make the necessary changes, and only then, we start digging in health history and identify root causes.
There is a hierarchy in health and changes need to be made in a specific order. There is no point addressing specific symptoms as long as one still consumes processed food and does not sleep enough for instance.

I use a very pragmatic and methodical approach; and a lot of common sense.
I use fundamental, timeless principles rather than everchanging diet trends.
I challenge the idea of “normal” and encourage critical thinking.
I am very radical and straightforward as I know that trying to “get away” with processed foods and poor lifestyle habits is a waste of time.

I use neuroscience research to understand how our brain work and how we build new habits.

I will make sure you understand my recommendations, but most importantly, that you have all the tools to put them into practice as this is what makes the difference. Knowledge alone is not sufficient.

I will guide you with practical, applicable diet and lifestyle recommendations but also handouts, meal ideas, recipes, food suppliers in your area and tips for eating out.

We now have access to amazing tools that were still science fiction up until recently like DNA testing, which I love to use, however, I will always start by implementing diet and lifestyle changes.

At no point will you be judged for your lifestyle and habits, we have all made some choices that had a negative impact on our health, knowingly or not, my aim is to empower you to make the choices that are best for you in the future.

Finally, being French, I put a huge emphasis on the fact that food is pleasure so I will always make sure my recommendations are delicious and enjoyable.
